Rehoming Your Dog

We are not accepting dogs for rehoming at this time.  Please contact Lincs Dobermann Rescue who are also based in the North of England and can assist.

If you have come to this page it’s clear that you are having to make a particularly difficult decision, to give up your Dobermann.

You may feel somewhat assured by our rigorous rehoming and adoption policies which you can see here.  The danger of rehoming privately is highlighted in this article where an owner believed their dog was safe and secure, however she was in perilous danger.

Our focus is primarily the North of England where we are based.  We accept dogs for rehoming from the following counties:

Northumberland, Cumbria, Durham, Tyne & Wear, Cleveland, Yorkshire (all), Lancashire (inc Greater Manchester), Lincolnshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire, Cheshire and Merseyside.

Only under exceptional circumstances do we accept dogs for rehoming from other areas.  If you would like us to consider rehoming your dog please complete the form below.

We will contact you very shortly to discuss your dog and arrange an assessment.

Finally, unlike other organisations who make a charge to accept your dog  for rehoming, we have no fixed acceptance fee and rely entirely on donations.

On average we spend at least £200 on each dog, so please give as much as you can afford to help us care for and rehome your Dobermann.  Donate

Thank you
